Vampire PRP Facial
Pre and Post-Care

Vampire PRP Facial Pre-Care

The Vampire Facial® (Microneedling with PRP) is an advanced collagen-boosting treatment that enhances skin texture, reduces fine lines, and improves overall skin health. Proper pre-care ensures minimal discomfort, optimal PRP absorption, and the best long-term results.

 1-2 Weeks Before Treatment

Avoid Sun Exposure & Tanning – Sunburned or tanned skin cannot be treated. Use SPF 30+ daily.

Discontinue Blood-Thinning Medications & Supplements (If Approved by Your Doctor) – To reduce the   risk of bruising, avoid:

• Aspirin, Ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin)

• Naproxen (Aleve)

• Fish oil, Omega-3, Vitamin E

• Ginkgo biloba, Turmeric, Green Tea Extract

Stop Using Retinol, Exfoliants & Strong Skincare Actives – Avoid Retin-A, glycolic acid, AHAs/BHAs, and   scrubs for 5-7 days before treatment.

Stay Hydrated & Nourish Your Skin – Drink plenty of water and follow a healthy, balanced diet to promote   optimal PRP quality.

 Avoid:

Facials, Chemical Peels, or Laser Treatments – No aggressive skin treatments for 2 weeks before your   Vampire Facial®.

 3-5 Days Before Treatment

Moisturize & Hydrate Your Skin – Well-hydrated skin responds better to microneedling and PRP   absorption.

Eat a Nutrient-Dense Diet – Include leafy greens, proteins, and vitamin C-rich foods to support platelet   production.

 Avoid:

Alcohol & Caffeine – These can dehydrate your skin and reduce PRP quality.

Waxing, Threading, or Hair Removal in the Treatment Area – Skin should be calm and free of irritation.

 24 Hours Before Treatment

Arrive Well-Hydrated – Drink plenty of water to enhance PRP quality.

Eat a Light, Healthy Meal – Helps prevent lightheadedness during the blood draw.

Avoid Intense Exercise – Sweating and heat can increase skin sensitivity.

Arrive with Clean Skin – No makeup, moisturizer, sunscreen, or skincare products on the treatment area.

 Avoid:

Excessive Sun Exposure – If your skin is sunburned or irritated, your appointment may need to be   rescheduled.

Taking NSAIDs or Anti-Inflammatory Medications – These can reduce the body’s natural healing   response.

 Day of Treatment

Arrive Well-Hydrated – Drink at least 2 glasses of water before your appointment.

Wear Comfortable Clothing – The procedure involves a blood draw and microneedling, so dress   accordingly.

Discuss Any Skin Concerns or Medical Conditions – Inform us about medications, allergies, or recent   skin treatments.

Relax & Stay Comfortable – The procedure is minimally invasive and well-tolerated with numbing cream.

 Avoid:

Applying Numbing Cream at Home – We will provide medical-grade numbing for comfort.

Using Heavy Makeup or Skincare Products – Skin must be clean and free of irritants.

Key Takeaways:

Stop Retinol, Exfoliants & Blood Thinners – Avoid harsh skincare and medications 5-7 days before.

Hydrate & Eat a Nutrient-Dense Diet – Helps enhance PRP quality and skin healing.

Arrive With Clean Skin & No Makeup – Skin must be fresh and product-free for optimal results.

No Sun Exposure or Tanning Before Treatment – Helps prevent irritation and hyperpigmentation.

Vampire Facial® Post-Care
